Abstract

Education conceived as a strategy of internalization and reaffirmation of values ​​is based on the values ​​of the Nursing Career in the training of integral professionals. The research proposed to determine the needs for education in values ​​from the perspective of teachers. With a mixed methodology developed in two stages, a qualitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional field research was carried out with in-depth interviews, with voluntary non-probabilistic sampling, ten teachers were integrated. The second stage was an interactive qualitative research through an experiential workshop aimed at 27 students out of 86 enrolled, whose objective was to strengthen the value system. The results showed the need to continue promoting values ​​based on an inclusive and holistic education and to continue actions and transversal strategic lines with an extended vision of general values ​​as an inherent and fundamental characteristic of the human being.
