Abstract
Introduction: Emotions are considered as short-term individual phenomena, with affective, cognitive, physiological, motivational and expressive components, which tend to dominate our consciousness. Emotions are activated from evaluations made of events, the evaluation style will determine the emotion to be experienced, and the most important thing is that this style can be learned or modified, which entails important psychopedagogical applications. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was carried out in 3rd year medical students. Data were obtained using a predesigned ad hoc questionnaire. The data obtained were entered into an Excel 2007 spreadsheet and analyzed using SPSS V26. Results: 115 complete surveys were obtained, with a mean age of 23 and a SD ± 3.08 years. Regarding the emotions felt with the return to presence, happiness, joy and, to a lesser extent, fear stood out. Most of them report feeling satisfied with the activities carried out. In organizational matters, 73% prefer a higher face-to-face time load. Conclusion: It was observed that positive emotions related to what was learned with face-to-face, to the reunion with classmates, friends and teachers and to the expectations of being able to apply the knowledge predominated.
