Abstract

Sports management in business schools is a trend demanded by the sports industry. In this context, the meaning of sports administration, the role of the sports administrator, is identified and presented and focuses on the aspects related to the training of a sport administrator in University , to reflect on their employability, as a result of a documentary research based on the literature review and content analysis of educational programs in sports administration or management. The results indicate that sports management is capable of contributing to the development of universities and business schools because an educational program of this nature is considered an innovation due to its high social impact, accentuated in the current living conditions after the pandemic caused due to the COVID 19 virus, which show high rates of sedentary lifestyle, obesity and physical inactivity in the face of the increasingly used forms of work and distance education.
