Resumen
Los schwannomas mamarios son tumores benignos muy poco frecuentes, especialmente en hombres, y representan menos del 1% de todos los tumores de mama. Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino de 61 años con una masa mamaria derecha de 8 cm, bien delimitada, móvil y no dolorosa, sin adenopatías. Los estudios de imagen no mostraron características de malignidad. El examen histopatológico confirmó el diagnóstico de schwannoma, una neoplasia benigna de nervios periféricos. El tratamiento fue la escisión quirúrgica completa con márgenes libres y buena evolución postoperatoria. Este caso subraya la importancia de incluir los tumores neurales en el diagnóstico diferencial de masas mamarias en varones.
