Resumen

La crisis climática constituye un fenómeno estructural cuyos efectos trascienden la dimensión ambiental para inscribirse en la biología humana de manera diferencial según la posición socioeconómica. Este artículo desarrolla un modelo teórico que articula economía política de la desigualdad, exposición ambiental diferencial, estrés psicosocial crónico y mecanismos moleculares de envejecimiento. Se argumenta que la desigualdad estructural no es un mero amplificador de la crisis climática, sino una condición que permite la persistencia de externalidades ambientales al fragmentar la sociedad en grupos con capacidad de adaptación y grupos forzados a internalizar costos. La evidencia sobre acortamiento telomérico y modificaciones epigenéticas asociadas a contaminación y estrés crónico sugiere que estas externalidades se inscriben somáticamente, produciendo envejecimiento biológico acelerado en poblaciones vulnerables. El modelo propuesto integra cuatro niveles interdependientes —macroestructural, distributivo-territorial, psicosocial y molecular— y genera derivaciones verificables sobre la estratificación biológica, la insuficiencia de políticas de mitigación sin transformación distributiva y la presión fiscal regresiva derivada de la crisis climática. Se incorpora evidencia comparada de América Latina y Europa para dimensionar la brecha entre el impacto creciente en salud y la capacidad de respuesta institucional.
